When should I book you?
As soon as possible, you should contact me to see what my schedule looks like. I am often booked out a month or more in advance.
Wat happens when I book you?
After we have chatted about your book and your ideas either via the contact form/email or FB messenger, I will direct you to an in-depth form to fill out about your book. This gives me lots of information I need to design your book cover. I may contact you for more information during the design phase.
I will also send you a contract to sign and a deposit invoice. Once the contract is signed and invoice is paid, you are put on the schedule in the next available time slot.
How long before I get my cover?
This varies depending on the complexity of the project. Average turnaround time is 2-4 weeks. Initial concept design(s) are usually sent within a week of your project start date.
Can I use my own photo?
Yes. You can use your own photographs or photographer stock photos, provided you can supply proof of license and it is at least 300 dpi and large enough for the cover. Quality is important.
How do I credit you?
Credit should be given as follows: Cover design ©RedRavenBookDesign - www.redravenbookdesign.com.
Payments & Refunds?
A 50% deposit is required to schedule and full payment is due upon approval of the final design. A one-time adjustment for blurb and/or spine width may be made free of charge after this. Invoices are sent via PayPal. Deposit is nonrefundable.
Premades must be paid in full before they are removed from the store.
